Connect Carts and Payment Processors

On this page you will learn how to connect various carts and Payment processors with Visiopt™ for better and more accurate tracking. This will also enable you to see and track revenue tin both testing and campaigns.

Please note: Steps 1-3 have been updated and simplified. Simply read this article here to continue.

After you set up your webhook, re-visit tis page to get instructions on how to add the webhook to your cart or processor.

Step 4: Place the webhook in your cart or processor.

This only has to be completed one time. You will get the same details wether you activated your webhook inside of tests or campaigns.

To learn how to get the proper webhook link in Visiopt, and how to connect it to various Carts and Payment Processors please pick on the name of your processor or cart below.

Remember this process can be completed in either testing or campaign. Once you set it up it will be available for use in both tests and campaigns

Note: Visiopt matches the email from your funnel or checkout to match with the details sent back to us by your cart or payment processor.

In order for this process to work properly Visiopt has to collect the email address of your buyer. In most cases this is done simply by adding your checkout page to your funnel as shown in step 1.

This will also work if any page where you collect emails is added to your funnel.

When you click on the list of carts below, we have added step by step instructions for adding VisiSmart Code to your carts checkout page.

Note: A new unique Webhook must be created for each test or campaign created.
When a campaign and test share the same funnel then the same Webhook may be used for both.

BuyGoods treat the main order and upsell as a single transaction.

In the Visiopt webhook settings you can set the webhook to "record unique conversion only".

When you do this both the main order and upsell will be treated and recorded as a single conversion.

But keep the following details in mind:
If the transaction ID is the same then the total revenue from both transactions will also be added to the single conversion.

If the transaction IDs are different for upsell and main order then the upsell revenue will not be added.

For Buy Goods they usually send a separate/different transaction number for the upsell than the main transaction.

Setting Up Multiple Webhooks for HubSpot Actions

You can track any HubSpot actions you want from a booked call to a completed sale directly inside Visiopt.

To keep your data clean and accurate, follow these simple setup rules:

Step 1: Create a Separate Webhook for Each Action

Each unique action (e.g., Book a Call, Purchase, Lead Moved to Closed Won) requires its own webhook.

This ensures each event is tracked independently.

Example:

  • One webhook for Book a Call
  • Another webhook for Sale Customer
  • Another (optional) for Demo Scheduled, Refund Issued, etc.

Step 2: Add Webhook Rules to Filter the Right Events

Inside each webhook, define Webhook Rules that tell Visiopt when to trigger the webhook.

Rules let you capture only the specific HubSpot event or property change you care about.

Example: Book a Call:

  • Webhook Name: Book a Call
  • Webhook Rule:
    • Field: subscriptionType
    • Condition: Includes
    • Value: deal.creation

Fires when a new deal is created — for example, after a call is booked.

Note: this is for demonstration purposes only. Yu must set webhook rules that match your account setup.

Example: Sale Customer:

  • Webhook Name: Sale Customer
  • Webhook Rule:
    • Field: propertyName
    • Condition: Includes
    • Value: closed_won_reason

Fires when a deal moves to Closed Won, tracking confirmed customers.

Note: this is for demonstration purposes only. You must set webhook rules that match your account setup.
