Create your campaign and connect it to your ad network.
⚠️ Important: Tracking parameters must be placed correctly at the ad or campaign level in your ad platform. Visiopt will provide the required parameters during setup.
The campaign page defines the entry point for attribution. Connecting your ad network enables Visiopt to pull in spend data and send conversion events back for optimization.
✓ Campaign appears in your campaign list
✓ Correct funnel is selected
✓ Ad network shows as connected
This step defines what Visiopt tracks and how revenue is calculated. Complete each section below.
Does your landing page offer multiple purchase options (e.g., 1 bottle vs 3 bottles)?
If you want to see reporting broken down by initial purchase option, choose Customer Path.
Not sure? Choose Normal Path — it's correct for most funnels.
✓ Normal Path selected. This is the right choice for most funnels.
Use Customer Path when your landing page offers multiple purchase options (for example: 1 bottle, 3 bottles, 6 bottles).
When enabled, Visiopt will show reporting for each purchase option separately — including downstream performance like upsells and total revenue — grouped by the initial option chosen.
Important: Customer Path does NOT require different upsell flows. Even if all buyers go through the same upsell sequence, reporting will still be segmented by the initial purchase option.
After setup, reporting will show results for each Customer Path individually.
Select how your revenue is sent to Visiopt:
Does ONE webhook already include the FULL order total?
✓ Do this: Only check the Total Revenue goal as "Include in Revenue"
✓ Do this: Check each revenue-producing goal as "Include in Revenue"
AOV measures the average value of each customer order.
✓ Mark ONLY ONE goal as "Include in AOV."
This should be your primary purchase event (your main order / checkout purchase / total revenue goal).
✗ Do NOT mark upsells, downsells, order bumps, or additional product goals as AOV.
Even if a customer buys multiple items, that is still ONE order.
Undefined conversions are conversions that did NOT originate from this funnel's campaign page.
In most cases, you do not want these included in your results because they can inflate or confuse reporting.
Best practice: Enable "Exclude Undefined Conversions" for every goal.
If you want conversion data sent to Google Analytics, enable this option and configure your GA4 property.
Correct goal and revenue configuration is critical. Mistakes here cause over-reporting, incorrect AOV, and bad optimization decisions.
✓ At least one goal is configured
✓ Revenue setting selected (Option 1 or 2)
✓ Only ONE goal is marked for AOV
✓ Exclude Undefined Conversions is enabled
Optional — but recommended for better ad platform optimization and signal quality.
